Antique Pair Of Ladies Eyeglasses

Antique pair of wire rimmed ladies eyeglasses. There’s a appt. card included with these glasses. According to the card these were purchased in ALTOONA,PA. At Dr.RAY Heverling’s office and on the back of the card it says the glasses were paid in full and it looks like they only cost $15.25.
They are gold rimmed glasses with hard plastic nose pieces. The glasses are only 4 1/2” wide and the lens are 1 1/2” high and are a little bigger than
1. 12” wide. I don’t Believe how really small these glasses are . I wear glasses and my glasses are 5 1/4 “ wide. I don’t see how small their faces were.
The card with the glasses also had Dr. B. Ressler ‘s name on the card , evidently there were two eye Dr.s practicing at this location in Altoona, Pa.
The wire for the ear piece is so thin that you could bend it in a heartbeat. I don’t see how they would have been serviceable because you would think they would bend if bumped. They are so cute but there is no way I could ever wear these glasses, they re so delicate.

Oh and the ear piece that goes straight back along your head is only 3 1/2” and then it starts to bend to go around your ear. (Very small).
